Gender v. Technology was our first Emergent Media Lab and took the from of an exhibition and performance salon that explored the boundaries of gender when intersected with phenomena such as disembodiment onto screens, AI, and the fragmenting of identity onto digital platforms.
This group exhibition featured new commissions from 20 emerging Bay Area interdisciplinary artists and included digital prints, sculpture, video, and performance based work.
